Barbecue Crab Sandwich

Barbecue Crab Sandwich Ingredients:

1 cup crab meat
½ cup tomato sauce
¼ cup green stuffed olives, sliced
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
8 English muffins or sandwich rolls

The first step in preparing this barbecue crab sandwich recipe is to mix everything except the bread. Cover and place in the refrigerator to chill for about an hour. Finally, remove and spread barbecue crab mixture on your favorite bread; broil just until cheese is melted and then enjoy!

While the recipe mentioned previously is more of a mock barbecue crab recipe, you can also just as easily prepare barbecue crab directly on the grill. One of the best ways to prepare real barbecue crab is to use a good barbecue rub. Although you can buy a variety of different barbecue rubs at the local supermarket, you can also prepare your own barbecue crab rub with ingredients you are probably already have at home.

Barbecue Crab Rub

Barbecue Crab Rub Recipe Ingredients:

1/3 cup salt
1/3 cup brown sugar
2 tbsp. garlic powder
2 tbsp. paprika
1 tbsp. dried thyme
1 tsp. cayenne pepper
1 tsp. freshly ground pepper

To make barbecue crab rub, mix all ingredients thoroughly. Store in an airtight container until ready to use. To prepare barbecue crab, sprinkle barbecue crab rub on meat and ‘rub’ in. Allow to marinate for either a couple of hours or in the refrigerator overnight.
