Bourbon Strip Steak

Ingredients
• 4 Strip Steaks
• 1 Tablespoon Black Peppercorns coarsely crushed
• 2 cloves minced Garlic
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• Bourbon Sauce
• 4 Tablespoons Butter
• 2 Tablespoons Chopped Onion
• 1 clove minced Garlic
• 2 Tablespoons Bourbon
• 2 teaspoons Worcestershire Sauce
• 1/2 teaspoon Dry Mustard
• A Dash of Tabasco sauce

Trim excess fat from Strip Steaks. Studies show that this is one of the easiest and effective ways to eliminate excess fat from the diet. Take crushed Peppercorns as well as Minced Garlic and press them into the sides of each steak. Place seasoned steaks in refrigerator for an hour.

Next, heat your pan or skillet over high. You can oil the pan or even use a little of the steak fat for grease, just lightly now. Sprinkle 1/8 of the salt (half of the salt) in your pan. This is pan grilling; you will sear the steaks quickly on one side, remove steak, add remaining salt, and then sear the other side of the steak quickly.

Now, you can reduce the heat. Cook on medium until your Strip Steak is cooked to your preferred taste. Place on a serving tray and keep Strip Steak warm.

Remove grease from pan. Melt butter over low, add onion and garlic and sauté’. When sautéed onion and garlic are tender, add bourbon. Finally add Worcestershire sauce, Dry Mustard, and Dash of Tabasco Sauce. Blend well and simmer for 2 minutes. Drizzle Bourbon Sauce over warm Strip Steaks.
